We, The Hollywood Gossip, can confirm that the latest round of Vanessa Hudgens nude photos are very much real.

How can we be so sure? Because a lawyer from the firm of Eisenberg, Raizman, Thurston & Wong contacted our site last night and ordered us to remove the pictures.

The letter claims the images are “copyright protected” by Hudgens and were taken “at a secluded residence,” affording Hudgens “a reasonable expectation of enjoying complete privacy.”

We don’t disagree, and have removed the pictures in question. But such language, and such a demand, makes one thing clear:

The lawyer also states that Hudgens was under the age of 18 when the pics were snapped, a fact backed up by her use of a Motorola Razor to take them.

In this day and age of the Blackberry and iPhone, what celebrity would resort to such an ancient piece of technology?

So it looks like the most recently-leaked pictures were part of the same naked set from September 2007. At least this means Vanessa has learned a lesson or two.

As for other young stars out there, take note: unless your name is Megan Fox, refrain from taking nude shots of yourself, no matter how private they’re meant to be.
