Lauren was born on 15th December 1986 in the suburban city Altamonte of Florida. She was 12 years old when she moved to the Montbello neighborhood of Denver where her mother received Welfare support from the Democratic party. Lauren got her first job when she was 15 years as an assistant manager at Mcdonald’s.
Later the family shifted to Aurora, Colorado, and then finally settled in Rifle, Colorado, in 2003 when Lauren was 16 years old. She got a job in Natural gas drilling company for filling gas but later got promoted to a pipeline.
There is no exact detail about Lauren’s high school but she dropped out in her senior year because she had a child and started to work. In 2020 she cleared her General Education Development test which claims she has high-school-level academic skills.

In 2013, she and her husband opened a restaurant named Shooter’s Grill in Rifle located west of Glenwood Springs. She started another restaurant ‘Putters’ on Rifle Creek Golf Course in 2015 but sold it in 2016. In 2020, a month after clearing her GED she stood in elections for Colorado’s 3rd congressional district of the United States House of Representatives.
She won primary elections in June 2020 with 54.6% of votes against Tipton and then won general elections in November 2020 with 51.27% of votes against Mitsch Bush. She became one of the 14 House Republicans in March 2020. In January 2021, Lauren opposed Capitol Hill Firearms regulations that didn’t allow people to keep firearms in offices.
