In an interview with Closer magazine, the blonde beauty said: 'I had my heart put in a blender. I used to get into bed at lunchtime and cry my eyes out... I wouldn't have been in a fit state to have met anyone.'
After leaving the show prematurely, dancer Curtis embarked on a romance with model Maura Higgins, 28.
Although she was crushed over their relationship at the time, Amy has since insisted she wishes the loved-up pair all the best.

Amy, who left Love Island shortly after the break down of her relationship with Curtis, believes that one of the solutions to the problem should be tougher action taken against those who dish out online attacks.
She told the magazine: 'Firstly there needs to be education in schools. And Instagram and Twitter need to crack down. They need to look at who's making these accounts. Cyberbullying needs to be classed as a crime.'
